 My husband and I travelled for the 1st time to Bali at the end of April.
I found out about Putu on TripAdvisor. His service is as what every single review said. No exaggeration. In fact, he went extra miles for us.
After 3 emails, we settled the price per day for his service and the itinerary that I have planned.
From the minute we exited the custom area, we met up with Putu immediately. No need to find where the taxi stand was/ queue for it in a hot and humid evening. He drove us straight from the airport to our hotel in Ubud. On the way, we chat a bit and he realised that we hadn't had dinner and offered to bring us to a restaurant in Ubud. Initially I thought that we will just drop off our luggage in our room , go find those recommended eating places that we found on the internet. But Putu offered to bring us to the restaurant , waited for us to have our dinner which lasted an hour, then bring us to our hotel. He didn't have to do this because our deal was just USD$30 from airport to Ubud hotel. Furthermore, it was already 9.20pm when we reached Ubud. Partly because I requested for his help in getting a local SIM card while on our way.

Through my friend’s recommendation, I booked 5 days with Putu. Since it was my first time in Bali, Putu made many good suggestions and flexibly adjusted the itinerary to suit my likes and needs. Putu is a very experienced driver, an excellent tour guide and a good photographer as well! His speaks good English and has a warm personality. His hospitality, thoughtfulness, attention to details and punctuality made my time in Bali such a blast. I highly recommend Putu as your private driver in Bali. I guarantee you that you will not regret with your choice.

“Informative and friendly service”

I had the pleasure of having 1.5 days of tours in Bali with Putu - He spoke good English, was friendly and more importantly, was very informed about different cultural and historical issues relating to Bali. I also had to cancel another day's touring because of some unexpected event and he was very pleasant about it.
So I would highly recommend Putu to anyone who's interested in having a nice day out in Bali :-).

“Its Putu and his service all the way!!!!!!!!”

Putu was our private guide while we were in Bali during March 2012. I just contacted him 1 day before I left for Bali and his responses were almost instant.....!Even though I could not confirm his services on that day, I took his contact # and called him up while I was in Bali, from then on he took complete care of us while we were there!! He is extremely knowledgeable and his services are excellent, he is a very careful driver and will ensure that you reach back home in one piece!! Such is the traffic in Bali!!!!
His charges are reasonable and never charges for anything extra... His english is excellent as compared to other car drivers in Bali and the car itself is squeaky clean!

I surely will recommend Putu and his services to all my friends! Here's wishing Putu that he buys his own car very very soon!!! Thanks Putu!!!

We stayed in Bali in early October and wanted to travel from Kuta to Ubud. We didn't want an ordinary one-way drive but a "day tour" from Kuta to Ubud, where we stayed for couple of days.

Mr. Kadek arrived punctually at 8 am to pick us up from our hotel. He drove us across Bali showing some major sights on our way. We stopped at a coffee plantation, took a side-road to see rice terraces, stopped at the temple of Tampak Sirng and Kintamani Volcano plus had lunch. Kadek is a very good driver and the car was in excellent condition. There were seat belts for everyone.
We truly enjoyed our long ride. Kadek speaks good English, he is a nice and warm person and knows a lot about the things we saw during our trip.
So if you want a safe and enjoyable ride in Bali, I highly recommend Kadek as your driver.

Thank you very much was a real treat for us on our holiday. He is an excelent driver and knows Bali very well. His English is very good and even gets the jokes we would tell. He drove us and friends to many spots all throughout Denpasar and Bali. surrounding areas. We enjoyed some really nice times with him and he really did make our holiday complete. I hope we have the pleasure of meeting him again and again. He also knows where to get the best deals!

I read the review from TA and booked a tour prior to our arrival in Bali. The tour booked for 10am, however, our driver, Nyoman has arrived at our hotel at 9.30 am! He is very punctual and first thing that he asked is what do you know and what do you want to see in Bali. We're a bunch of boys so Kechak dance would probably make us fall asleep. So he took us to Kintamani, Penglipuran, Mount Batur and lots of other fun places. And he can answer any question that we asked. He is definitely thew best driver in Bali. Just tell him what you like and what you have in mind, he'll get you there.

The best advice I got from tripadvisor.I made my trip to Bali with fiance on May 13 to 16, 2011.I found Ketut on tripadvisor months before our trip and e-mailed him right away, he replied and confirmed immediately. He was kind enough to answer all my questions via e-mail and arrived 30 minutes early in our hotel to pick us up. We were with him for two days (May 14 and 15).He is very knowledgable about the tourist places in Bali and could answer almost all the questions we had. Speaks decent English. He never said no or not possible. He gladly took our photos when asked.He has surpassed all of our expectations and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and was very helpful.He even lent us his own money when we did not have enough IDR (local money) to pay for our dinner in Jimbaran (we did not even ask,he just offered), it's something we don't see everyday.

“Best of Bali with Putu”

i reviewed this tour here on TripAdvisor, and emailed Putu for a private tour during our stay in Bali. What a great experience! Putu our driver, very punctual, picked us up at our Villa very early in the morning and took us to wonderful places. He is very respectful on what you want, he would let you decide where you want to go, and then suggest the best way to see all of the attractions in Bali. We had such a great tour around Bali that we asked him for a second day. In 2 days i think we got the best of Bali: Besakih Temple, Volcanos, Rice Terraces, Elephant Park, Tanah lot Temple, Ulu watu Temple (where i almost lost my sandal by a monkey!! and thanks to Putu i got it back! haha). We got to know the best coffee in the world and we didn´t even know it came from Bali! Drinking Kopi Luwak Coffe was a unique experience! Thank you Putu for showing us how gorgeous your island is, we are in love with Bali and can´t wait to go back.
